About the Office

Avneesh Arputham is an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India. He holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the London School of Economics (LSE). Prior to establishing his independent litigation practice, he worked at the House of Commons, UK Parliament, and subsequently at Economic Laws Practice (ELP). His practice focuses on white-collar crime, environmental law, and constitutional law, with appearances before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and other judicial and quasi-judicial forums.

Internship Details

Commencement: Internship Cycle: Applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis, with internship slots commencing from June 2026 onwards.

Mode: Preference will be given to candidates available for an offline/physical internship.

Location: Bengali Market, New Delhi

Duration: To be discussed with selected candidates.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and there is no fixed application deadline. Internship positions may be offered throughout the year based on the office’s requirements and availability. Applications are reviewed as and when received, and positions may be filled once suitable candidates are identified. Early applications are therefore encouraged.

Eligibility

Students in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated law course; or

Students in the 2nd year or above of a 3-year law course.

Preference may be given to candidates who have previously interned in chambers or offices engaged in litigation before the Supreme Court of India.
