About the Opportunity:
Lawkins is inviting applications from talented and motivated legal professionals for the position of Junior Associate. The role is suited for candidates with a strong combination of legal, analytical, and technical skills, with the opportunity to work on complex matters involving intellectual property, regulatory, and commercial disputes, along with exposure to corporate advisory and contract drafting.

Position Details:

• Experience Required: 1–2 years of post-qualification experience
• Qualification: LL.B. from a reputed law school

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and review pleadings, including plaints, written statements, rejoinders, applications, affidavits, and appeals.
• Represent clients and assist senior lawyers in proceedings before District Courts, High Courts, Tribunals, and IP Offices.
• Conduct legal research and case law analysis.
• Prepare briefs, legal notes, and hearing-related materials.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding case strategy and updates.
• Manage court filings, hearings, and procedural compliance.
• Assist with matters involving intellectual property, regulatory, and commercial disputes.
• Support corporate advisory work and contract drafting.

Eligibility & Skills:
Candidates should have:
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in Litigation & Dispute Resolution.
• LL.B. degree from a reputed law school.
• Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with court appearances and litigation procedures.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal matters with attention to detail.
