Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice to Ministries and Departments of the Government of India
• Handle government litigation matters
• Appear before courts on behalf of the Central Government whenever required
• Perform administrative and other assigned duties

Eligibility Criteria:

Option 1:
• Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institution
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Advocate dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws

OR

Option 2:
• Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized University/Institution
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Advocate dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws

Age Limit:
• UR/EWS: 40 Years
• OBC: 43 Years
• SC/ST: 45 Years
• Additional relaxation of up to 10 years for eligible PwBD candidates
