The NLIU Law Review is inviting submissions for the NLIU Law Review Blog through its themed monthly submission cycle.

This month’s theme focuses on the evolving landscape of Intellectual Property Rights and seeks analytical, accessible, and well-researched contributions exploring the intersection of innovation, creativity, technology, and public interest.


Theme:

“Intellectual Property Rights: Law at the Edge of Creativity”

As emerging technologies and changing cultural landscapes continue to challenge traditional legal frameworks, questions surrounding authorship, originality, ownership, identity, and access have become increasingly significant. The NLR Blog aims to foster meaningful discussions on these evolving dimensions of intellectual property law.

• Personality Rights, Publicity, and the Commodification of Identity
• Authorship, Originality, and the Boundaries of Copyright Protection
• Traditional Knowledge, Cultural Heritage, and the Limits of Existing IP Frameworks
• Patent Law, Exclusivity, and the Public Interest Calculus
• Artificial Intelligence, Machine Creativity, and the Crisis of Authorship
