Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) in Rajasthan’s first NAAC A+ accredited institution with a special emphasis on research and interactive teaching with the strength of 9000 students.

School of law started in the year 2014 has grown in leaps and bounds and has a strength of 700+ students at present and the school has been approved by the bar council of India. 

The Manipal University Jaipur forayed into the field of legal education by introducing integrated BA, ll. B (hons), BBA, ll. B (hons), bachelor of law (ll. B), master of law (ll. M), and Ph.D. Programs in the study. As an institution of excellence school of law is dedicated to fostering and inculcating the intellectual and ethical values in the students. 

The school of law is committed to the evolution of law as an instrument of social change, efforts are being made to expose students to practical realities. 

The teaching methods adopted for the programs offered involve lectures, discussions, case studies, moot courts, and project work that will facilitate students to promote multi-disciplinary inquiry and practical appreciation of problems.


The ZELUS 2.0 is a brainchild of the faculty of arts & law, Manipal University Jaipur, organized by the faculty of arts and law students to enhance their knowledge and empower them.

This event is the second edition of ZELUS fest organized in the year 2021 and was started for the overall skill development of the faculty of arts and law.

ZELUS 2.0 is a national fest that is open to all the universities and students outside Manipal.

The ZELUS 2.0 is a three-day event organized to expand the vision of justice and the advancement of society through empowerment and encouragement. It has curated events to bring students of different backgrounds to come together with a motive to present, prove and conduct something with common goals. It provides an excellent platform to showcase and develop a multifaceted personality to face the real world. It comprises a fresh and traditional set of competitions carefully designed for the growth of the mind of a law student in particular, where one’s legal skills are tested.

All the faculties & students of the faculty of arts and law are the beneficiaries of this event along with the law aspirants, academicians, and professionals from all across the country as it comprises different activities for everyone for their wholesome growth, development, and fun.

Personalities involved here are more centred toward India than any political party, with repercussions on world debate. Rules for AISM

  1. Official working language of AISM will be English. Speakers may use Hindi while speaking, but not for documentation.
  2. Speakers shall only use strict parliamentary language. Usage of unparliamentary language or incitement of any kind may result in expulsion from competition.
  3. Speakers are advised not to exceed their ALLOTTED time. Nothing spoken after the ALLOTTED time is over shall be taken on record or marked.
  4. Speakers shall refrain from interrupting other speaker(s) in between.
  5. Decision of the Executive Board shall be binding for the purposes of any disputes which may arise during the meet.


A debate competition encompasses a wide range of benefits from building confidence and eloquence to gaining broad, multi-faceted knowledge outside your normal, mundane academic subjects. Make yourself heard, because Desmond Tutu once said, “Don’t raise your voice, improve your argument!”

Presentation Rules:

  1. The paper submitted will have to be presented during the event.
  2. Hard copies of the same are to be submitted before presentation to Judges.
  3. The Teams will get 8 minutes to present their paper. And 2 minutes will be for questioning by judges.
  4. The participants will have to present their papers in MS- POWERPOINT (ppt) format only.
  5. Violation of any rule can result in rejection of paper.
  6. Decision of the judges and the event heads shall be treated as final and binding on all and cannot be contested.
  7. The organizers reserve the right to change/update the rules of the contest at any point of time and will do their best to inform to participants of the same. However, it is ultimately the responsibility of the teams to keep themselves updated.

Paper Format Rules:

  1. Abstract may not exceed the limit of 400 words.
  2. The front page should have THE title of THE paper on the top and the details of the team members at the bottom.
  3. It should have AN abstract attached.
  4. Font style for text: Times New Roman.
  5. Font size for text: 12 points.
  6. Font size for headings: 16 points.
  7. Font size for sub-headings: 14 points.
  8. Margin of 1 inch from all sides.
  9. Your work should be original and in the specified format. Directly copying from the Internet is strongly discouraged and will not be entertained

The poetries and stories can be based on any REAL-LIFE incidents or entirely fictional. This event is an opportunity for students to learn and make new experiences.
