About Bihar State Legal Services Authority
Established under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987—which was enacted in line with Article 39-A of the Constitution of India and came into effect on 09.11.1995—the Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BSLSA) is a statutory body dedicated to ensuring access to justice for all.
The core objective of the National, State, and District Legal Services Authorities is to provide free and effective legal aid to the marginalized sections of society, conduct Lok Adalats, and promote legal awareness.
