Details of the event:
- The event consists of three rounds: Client Counselling, Public Interest Litigation Drafting and PIL Presentation
- The first round consists of client counselling where participants will obtain the facts and issues to base the PIL on by asking questions to the client,
- The nature of the facts will be based on the theme chosen by the participants,
- In the second round the participants will draft the PIL from the facts obtained in round 1
- Participants must bring all necessary material, no material (laptops for drafting or reference books will be provided by the organizers)
- The use of internet is permitted only for the drafting rounds and no other
- Once the PIL has been drafted, participants will present the PIL in front of judges.
