About the Role:
PPRC is expanding its research team and inviting applications for the position of Researcher. This role is designed for individuals who are deeply interested in public policy, governance, and politics, and are keen to engage beyond desk research by gaining real-world exposure to India’s evolving policy landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research on political developments, public policy frameworks, and government initiatives
• Undertake field visits across regions to gather primary, on-ground insights
• Engage with stakeholders including government officials, beneficiaries, and domain experts
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to produce actionable research outputs
• Track national discourse on governance and contribute to high-impact policy research and publications
Eligibility & Requirements:
• Graduates/Postgraduates in Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, or related fields
• Strong interest in Indian politics, governance, and policy-making
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to interpret data and present structured insights
• Willingness to travel and engage in fieldwork
• Candidates available to join immediately or within one month preferred
