
About the Opportunity:
National Law School of India University is inviting applications for two (2) Research Assistant positions under the DPIIT Chair on Intellectual Property Rights.
The DPIIT Chair is a specialised academic initiative aimed at advancing research, policy development, and capacity-building in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in India. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of law, policy, and innovation, contributing to meaningful research outputs that can influence legal and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities (Indicative):
• Conducting detailed research on IP laws, policies, and emerging global trends
• Assisting in drafting research papers, policy briefs, reports, and academic publications
• Analysing case laws, statutes, and regulatory developments in IP
• Supporting ongoing projects under the DPIIT Chair
• Assisting in organising seminars, workshops, and academic discussions
• Contributing to knowledge dissemination and research initiatives
Skills & Competencies Required:
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities
• Excellent academic writing and articulation skills
• Good understanding of Intellectual Property Laws
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage research outputs
• Interest in public policy, innovation, and technology law (preferred)
