Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd. is inviting applications for the position of Legal Officer at its Corporate Office in Mumbai. This role is ideal for legal professionals with experience in mortgage law, contract drafting, property due diligence, and legal advisory within the housing finance, banking, or NBFC sector.

• Qualification: LL.B. (LL.M. or specialization in Corporate/Banking Law preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, draft, and vet loan agreements, SLAs, NDAs, contracts, notices, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal due diligence for properties and title verification
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on legal matters
• Support regional legal teams in legal and documentation matters
• Prepare case briefs, legal opinions, and maintain legal documentation records
• Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders and business teams

Eligibility & Preference:
• LL.B. degree (Mandatory)
• LL.M. or specialization in Corporate/Banking Law is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Contract Law and mortgage legal matters
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts, service agreements, and NDAs
• Expertise in legal documentation, notices, pleadings, legal opinions, and case records
• Prior experience in Housing Finance, NBFCs, Banking, or Financial Services preferred
• Good understanding of property laws, litigation processes, and Indian regulatory frameworks
