Sarvaank Associates is inviting applications for the position of Associate in its Private Equity, Venture Capital, and M&A practice. This opportunity is ideal for lawyers with prior law firm experience in corporate transactions, private equity, venture capital investments, and mergers & acquisitions. The role involves working closely with startups, investors, venture capital funds, private equity firms, and family offices on complex transactional and advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting and reviewing investment documents, SHAs, SSAs, SPAs, term sheets, and commercial agreements
• Conducting legal research on corporate, regulatory, and data privacy matters
• Advising on PE/VC investments, fund-related transactions, and M&A deals
• Assisting with due diligence, transaction structuring, and regulatory compliance
• Supporting high-growth companies, investors, funds, and family offices
• Managing client communications and providing strategic legal solutions
Eligibility & Preference:
• LL.B. from a recognized law school (LL.M. or specialization in Corporate/Commercial Law preferred)
• 2–4 years of experience in Corporate Law, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or M&A transactions
• Strong understanding of the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI Regulations, and commercial laws
• Experience in drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Familiarity with startups, ESOPs, cap tables, and fund investments preferred
• Strong research, drafting, analytical, and client-management skills
• Prior law firm experience in PE, VC, M&A, or commercial transactions is mandatory
