About the Role:
White & Brief – Advocates & Solicitors is inviting applications for the position of Associate. This role is ideal for litigation professionals looking to build strong, hands-on experience across civil, criminal, and arbitration matters while working in a structured and professionally driven environment.
The position offers exposure to diverse forums and practical involvement in proceedings, making it suitable for candidates aiming to strengthen their litigation practice and advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in appearances before District Courts, High Courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums
• Support end-to-end litigation management across civil, criminal, and arbitration matters
• Draft and review pleadings, petitions, affidavits, legal notices, and arbitration-related documents
• Conduct detailed legal research and assist in case strategy, opinions, and brief preparation
• Visit police stations and liaise with law enforcement authorities when required
• Coordinate with clients, senior counsel, and regulatory authorities for smooth case handling
• Manage hearings, filings, procedural compliances, and case timelines
• Contribute to internal knowledge-building, documentation, and legal updates
Eligibility & Requirements:
• LL.B. from a recognised university with Bar Council of India enrollment
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in litigation
• Exposure to civil, criminal, and/or arbitration matters
• Strong drafting, legal research, and developing advocacy skills
• Proficiency in Marathi (spoken and written) preferred
• Ability to take ownership of tasks while working under guidance
• Professional, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach
