Job Description:
APCR India is inviting applications for the position of Litigation Associate for individuals passionate about human rights law and strategic litigation.
The organisation is seeking early-career lawyers, including fresh graduates, who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced litigation environment involving meaningful legal and constitutional work.

Role Overview:
This is a hands-on litigation role involving active support in ongoing cases, drafting, legal research, filing, and court appearances under the guidance of experienced lawyers.

Eligibility Criteria:
• B.A. LL.B. / LL.B. degree from a recognised university
• Enrollment with the State Bar Council (or in process)
• Freshers are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting in drafting pleadings, petitions, affidavits, and written submissions
• Conducting legal research on case laws, statutes, and procedural aspects
• Supporting senior lawyers in case preparation and litigation strategy
• Attending court proceedings and assisting during hearings
• Maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and managing documentation
• Liaising with clients, court officials, and stakeholders
• Filing and listing of cases before courts
Desired Skills:
• Ability to independently draft and file petitions before courts
• Confidence in appearing before courts and judicial forums
• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent legal analytical, drafting, and organisational abilities
• Strong time management and task prioritisation skills
