upGrad is inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern with its Study Abroad Legal Team. This opportunity offers law students hands-on exposure to international university partnerships, cross-border commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and legal advisory work in the global education sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Reviewing and drafting partnership agreements with universities and international institutions
• Assisting with commercial contract negotiations across India, APAC, MENA, and other jurisdictions
• Conducting legal and regulatory research on education, data privacy, consumer protection, and compliance matters
• Supporting program launches, offer letter reviews, refund policy assessments, and operational legal advisory work
• Preparing legal notes, risk assessments, and contract summaries for business stakeholders
Eligibility & Preference:
• 4th/5th year students of a 5-year law programme or 2nd/3rd year students of a 3-year law programme
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Prior internships in corporate, commercial, technology, or education law preferred
• Ability to work from the Noida office
• Candidates able to commit for at least 4 months
