Internship Description:
Athena Law Associates is inviting applications for the position of Assessment Intern in its Indirect Tax Litigation practice. This internship offers aspiring legal professionals practical exposure to GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, and allied laws. High-performing interns may also be considered for a permanent position with the firm upon completion of their law degree.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting with matters relating to GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, and allied laws
• Conducting legal research and case law analysis
• Assisting in legal drafting, formatting, and documentation
• Supporting the litigation team in day-to-day legal assignments
• Preparing legal notes, briefs, and research material
Eligibility & Preference:
• Final-year law students (5-year integrated LL.B. or 3-year LL.B. programmes) or fresh law graduates
• Basic understanding of GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, and indirect taxation laws
• Strong legal drafting and formatting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Applicants should submit a published writing sample, such as an article, blog post, or research paper
