About the Opportunity:
Acelegal is inviting applications from motivated law students for its May 2026 Internship Programme. This is a long-term, in-office internship designed to provide deep, practical exposure across key transactional and advisory practice areas.
About the Firm:
• Full-service law firm with a focus on Real Estate, General Corporate, and Taxation
• Engaged in handling live transactions, advisory mandates, and compliance work
• Known for providing interns with hands-on responsibilities rather than observational roles
Internship Details:
• Role: Legal Intern
• Location: Navi Mumbai (In-office)
• Duration: Minimum 3 Months (extendable based on performance)
• Start Date: May 2026
• Work Schedule: 6 days a week (full-time, in-office)
Practice Areas & Work Exposure:
1. Real Estate Law:
• Due diligence of property documents and title verification
• Drafting agreements such as sale deeds, lease agreements, development agreements
• Assisting in regulatory compliance and approvals
2. General Corporate:
• Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
• Assisting in company law compliance and advisory
• Exposure to transaction structuring and documentation
3. Taxation:
• Basic research on direct and indirect tax issues
• Assisting in advisory and compliance-related work
• Understanding regulatory frameworks impacting businesses
Core Responsibilities:
• Conducting detailed legal research and case law analysis
• Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents
• Assisting the team on ongoing matters and transactions
• Preparing notes, summaries, and internal research briefs
• Supporting day-to-day legal and client-related work
Eligibility Criteria:
• Students who have completed:
• At least 3 years of a 5-year LL.B. course, OR
• At least 2 years of a 3-year LL.B. course
• Ability to commute to Navi Mumbai office regularly
• Availability for minimum 3 months without interruption
• Demonstrated interest in Real Estate, Corporate, or Tax Law
