About the Opportunity:
DCB Bank Ltd. is inviting applications for the position of Legal Manager at its Raipur (Chhattisgarh) location. This role is suited for candidates interested in banking litigation, recovery proceedings, and financial law enforcement mechanisms.

Core Responsibilities:
• Handling litigation under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act (Cheque Bounce cases)
• Managing proceedings under the SARFAESI Act, including:
- Issuance and follow-up of notices under Section 13(2)
- Enforcement actions under Section 13(4)
- Coordination for applications under Section 14 before District Magistrate
• Overseeing Non-Performing Asset (NPA) recovery processes
• Appearing before courts/tribunals or coordinating with external counsel
• Ensuring timely legal action and compliance in recovery matters
• Liaising with internal teams and advocates for effective case management
Eligibility & Qualification:
• LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws)
• Prior experience in banking litigation / recovery / financial disputes preferred
Key Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of banking laws and recovery mechanisms
• Practical exposure to SARFAESI and NI Act proceedings
• Drafting, litigation handling, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and timelines efficiently
