Job Description:
Pacta is hiring for a Legal Associate role in our Transactions team. The role will primarily focus on contracts, compliance, governance advisory, labour law compliances, and legal risk mitigation for nonprofits and social sector organisations.
Details:
• Role: Legal Associate – Transactions Team
• Organisation: Pacta
• Experience: 1–2 years (Prior law firm experience required – not open to freshers)
• Preferred Additions: Experience in technology law or labour law is an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting and reviewing agreements, policies, and legal notices
• Advising on nonprofit governance and compliance
• Supporting labour law, POSH, and employment‑related matters
• Conducting legal research, trainings, and capacity‑building workshops
• Working closely with clients and cross‑functional teams
Eligibility & Preference:
• Lawyers with 1–2 years of PQE
• Prior law firm experience – must bring rigour and ability to handle high‑pressure work environments
• Strong interest in using legal skills for social impact
• Experience or specialisation in technology law or labour law will be an added advantage
• This role is not open to freshers
