Job Description:
Our client, a boutique law firm in Delhi NCR, is looking to hire for its Banking and Finance practice. This role offers an opportunity to work on high‑value and complex banking & finance transactions.
Details:
• Role: Associate – Banking & Finance
• PQE: 2–3 Years
• Location: Delhi NCR
• Budget: ₹15 – 20 LPA + Variable
Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting Partners on banking & finance and investment transactions
• Drafting and reviewing transaction documents including Facility Agreements, Security Documents, Debenture Trust Deeds, Subscription Agreements, Inter‑creditor and Escrow Arrangements
• Conducting legal due diligence on investee companies
• Preparing board/shareholder resolutions and CA certificates
• Assisting in transaction execution, closings, and post‑closing compliances
• Undertaking legal research on banking, finance, and general corporate laws
Ideal Candidate:
• LL.B. degree from a recognised university
• 2–3 years’ experience with a law firm in Banking & Finance / Investment practice
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Experience in handling loan and debenture transactions
• Familiarity with the Companies Act, RBI regulations, SEBI regulations, and security creation/registration processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
