Key Responsibilities:
• Identify novelty in invention disclosures.
• Conduct patentability, invalidity, and state-of-the-art searches using patent and non-patent literature.
• Analyze and rank patents based on similarity with relevant publications, products, or standards.
• Prepare claim charts for patents and publications.
• Draft responses to examination reports/office actions for US, EP, and Indian jurisdictions.
• Analyze patent applications and cited references.
• Develop strategies to address objections and rejections in office actions.
• Amend patent claims and draft legal arguments to overcome objections.
Eligibility:
• M.Sc. (Chemistry) or Ph.D. (Chemistry).
• Prior experience of 3–5 years is preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical understanding of the chemistry domain.
• Knowledge of patent fundamentals.
• Familiarity with the Indian Patent Act and patent laws of the US and Europe is an added advantage.
• Excellent research, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently under strict deadlines.
