National Services Scheme Unit of National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam is organising an Essay Competition- ‘Honoring the Honored‘ on the occasion of KARGIL DIWAS. This competition is the first of its kind to be organized by the unit. The aim behind holding this competition is to foster and acquaint the students with the glorious past of its brave soldiers.
1) To trace the developments which led to the Kargil War, 1999.
2) A critical analysis of the relationship between India and Pakistan post 1999.

TOP THREE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE AWARDED WITH CERTIFICATE OF MERIT.
GUIDELINES FOR THE COMPETITION
1. THE COMPETITION IS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS ACROSS VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS IN THE COUNTRY.
2. THE WORD LIMIT FOR THE ESSAY STANDS AT 750-800. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ANY ONE OUT OF THE THREE TOPICS AND LIMIT THEMSELVES TO THE WORD LIMIT, FAILING WHICH THEY WOULD BE DISQUALIFIED.
3. PARTICIPANTS ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO REFRAIN FROM MALPRACTICE SUCH AS PLAGIARISM.
4. THERE MUST BE AN INCH GAP ON BOTH THE BORDERS AND THE LINE SPACING OF 1.5 INCH. THE FONT FOR THE ESSAY SHOULD BE TIMES NEW ROMAN WITH FONT SIZE 12.
5. INTERESTED STUDENTS ARE REQUESTED TO FILL IN THE GOOGLE FORM TO REGISTER THEMSELVES. THE LINK FOR THE FORM HAS BEEN ATTACHED BELOW.
