Competition Advisory Services (India) [COMPAD] LLP in association with Khaitan & Co is hosting an international webinar titled ‘Competition Law Townhall’ on the topic ‘Digital Competition Law: International Perspective with special reference to Asia’ in virtual mode on 7th December 2023. The event will host competition lawyers, industry, academicians, legal, policy professionals, and students.
The evolution of the digital economy has been rapidly assuming importance globally. Trade-related competition concerns in major jurisdictions, as a result of such evolution, continue to excite competition professionals and other stakeholders. Gradually many advanced economies have been trying to prioritize their own political economies rather than adopting newer laws from other jurisdictions. Japan, Singapore and India have been cautiously considering these concepts and have been trying to address their own concerns over the concerns of other jurisdictions. The webinar would try to unfold these concerns via presentations of eminent panellists.
