About the Organisation
Accords International (AcIn) is the world’s premier organization working in the area of conflict resolution. We are passionate about discovering innovative techniques in mediation and restorative justice for widening their scope as a mechanism of conflict resolution.
AcIn was conceptualized in 2021 with an aim to:
- Empower individuals to establish better dispute resolution mechanisms;
- Utilise existing techniques in dispute resolution in a more productive way and create new techniques in the area;
- Create a pan India network of professionals, academicians, judges, bureaucrats, and students working in the area of conflict resolution and restorative justice &
- Synergise the working of alternate dispute resolution mechanisms with courts and the government for faster and optimal results

About the Settlement House
Settlement House ADR Training Institute (SHATI) was birth in the year 2021 with the mandate of carrying out trainings, research, skills enhancement, development and certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution in Nigeria in order to meet up with international standards especially in Mediation, Mediation Advocacy, the business of Mediation, Negotiation, Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), Arbitration, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Conflict Management, restorative justice, ADR Registrars/Secretaries and in faith-based Alternative Dispute Resolution.
SHATI aspires in due course, to be the provider of an affordable venue and platform for coaching, mentorship and the practice of Mediation, Arbitration, Mediation Advocacy and any other form of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
SHATI’s goal is to synergize and collaborate with local, national, international organisations and institutions with similar aims and objectives for the purpose of promoting the standard training and practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Nigeria, Africa and the World at large.\
About Settlement Hour
Settlement Hour is a continuous professional development for members of SHATI and ADR Practitioners but an awareness program on ADR for professional, non-professionals, students and other interested persons. Since conflict is inevitable in our Society the programme aims to help participants to develop conflict resolution skills and adapt ADR as a means of peaceful resolution of disputes and as such, it allows free access to the programme except for those who may need a certificate of participation.
