Pretoria University Law Press (PULP) has invited submissions for the Christof Heyns Memorial Thesis Award 2026. The award recognizes outstanding doctoral research in law and provides an opportunity for the winning and runner-up theses to be published in book form by PULP.

Award Benefits:
• Winner: Cash Prize of R10,000 and publication of the thesis in book form by PULP
• Runner-Up: Cash Prize of R5,000 and publication of the thesis in book form by PULP
Eligibility & Preference:
• Applicants must have completed doctoral studies in Law at an African University during 2025/2026
• Thesis must address one or more of the following themes:
• Human Rights
• Good Governance
• Social Justice from an African Perspective
• Theses must be submitted in English
• Examiner reports must accompany the thesis submission
• No entry fee is required
