About the Opportunity:
The NLUD Journal on Labour, managed and published by the Centre for Labour Law Research and Advocacy (CLLRA), National Law University, Delhi, invites submissions for its Third Issue (2026–27) on the theme “Technology, Labour and Governance.”

The annual journal is double-blind peer-reviewed and aims to promote interdisciplinary scholarship on labour and related issues by fostering diverse academic perspectives.

• Data Governance, Worker Privacy and Workplace Surveillance
• Artificial Intelligence, Automation and the Future of Work
• Algorithmic Management and Labour Rights in the Gig Economy
• Gender, Technology and the Changing Nature of Work
• Technology, Labour Justice and Access to Grievance Redressal
• Digital Public Infrastructure and Labour Welfare
• Migrant Workers, Technology and Welfare Portability
• Digital Divide, Social Inequalities and Labour Governance

Types of Submissions:

  1. Special Articles: 8,000–10,000 words
  2. Short Articles: 5,000–8,000 words
  3. Insights/Perspectives: 3,500–4,500 words
  4. Book Reviews/Case Notes: 2,500 words
  5. Field Notes/Pictorial Commentaries: 1–2 pages

Submission Guidelines:
• All submissions, except Book Reviews, must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 300 words and 5 important keywords.
• Word limits are inclusive of footnotes.
• Referencing and citations must conform to the APA Citation Style.
• Student submissions (UG/PG) will not be considered for the journal.

Important Dates:
📅 Submission Begins: 20 July 2026
📅 Full Paper Submission Deadline: 30 September 2026
📅 Communication of Acceptance: 30 January 2027
📅 Proposed Publication Date: 15 May 2027

📌 Submissions can be made through the CLLRA submission portal or via email at jol@nludelhi.ac.in.

Conditions of Publication:
• Submissions must be original and not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.
• Authors are responsible for any infringement or related consequences arising from their submissions.
• Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, publish, and distribute accepted work.

How to Apply:
Interested academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, and other eligible contributors working on labour law, technology, public policy, and related interdisciplinary areas are encouraged to submit their manuscripts before the deadline.
