About the Journal:
Bangladesh Institute of Law and International Affairs (BILIA), one of South Asia’s leading research institutes and the first think tank organisation in Bangladesh, is inviting original and unpublished manuscript submissions for the forthcoming issue of the Journal of International Affairs (JIA) — Vol. 28, No. 1, June 2026.
The Journal of International Affairs is a reputed platform for analysis and debate on contemporary international and security affairs from a multidisciplinary social science perspective.

Submission Guidelines:
• Manuscripts must be original and unpublished
• Simultaneous submissions under consideration elsewhere are not permitted
• Word Limit: 5,000 – 8,000 words (excluding footnotes and references)
• Abstract Limit: Maximum 250 words
• Formatting:
• Font: Joana MT
• Main Text: 12 pt
• Footnotes: 10 pt
• Double-spaced with 1-inch margins
Additional Requirements:
• References must be provided through footnotes
• Authors must include a separate biographical note mentioning:
• Present position
• Degrees
• Recent publications
