Conference Description:

The Department of Law, Università degli Studi di Ferrara is inviting submissions for the final conference of the Jean Monnet Chair “Verba volant, sed imperant?”, devoted to the normative dimension of EU communication.

The conference will explore how EU institutional communication — including press releases, public statements, announcements, and social media posts — may influence expectations, shape behaviour, affect legal positions, and raise issues of accountability even beyond formal legal acts.

The event will be chaired by ECJ Judge Massimo Condinanzi and will feature distinguished speakers including Michal Bobek and Eleanor Spaventa.
