About the Workshop:
Applications are invited for an interdisciplinary research workshop titled “Beyond the Gender Blind Spot: Intersectional Feminist and Gendered Perspectives to Business and Human Rights”, jointly hosted by the FAU CHREN Center for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg and the European University Viadrina.

The workshop aims to explore how Business and Human Rights (BHR) can be reimagined through feminist, intersectional, decolonial, and Global South perspectives, addressing gendered and intersectional harms that remain underrepresented in corporate accountability frameworks.

• Gender, climate change, and corporate environmental responsibility
• AI, platform labour, and gendered digital harms
• Access to remedy and feminist legal mobilisation
• Decolonial and Global South perspectives on corporate accountability

• Early-career researchers
• Doctoral candidates
• Postdoctoral researchers
• Academics and scholars from diverse disciplinary backgrounds

• Abstract Submission Deadline: 5 July 2026
• Notification of Acceptance: 25 July 2026
• Workshop Dates: 12–13 November 2026
