About the Essay Writing Competition

In an era of globalization, technological advancement, and social change, the legal landscape is continually evolving. To address these challenges, IILM Law School is organizing an Essay Writing Competition that will focus on the need for constitutional reforms in India’s higher education system. This competition is a part of the series commemorating the 75 years of the Constitution of India and the theme “संविधान से भारत: 75 Years of Democracy and Justice”.

Eligibility

  • Open to Undergraduate, Postgraduate students, and Research Scholars across India.
  • Participants must submit original work adhering to the competition theme.

  • Font Style: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Alignment: Justified
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides
  • Paragraph Indentation: 0.5 inches
  • File Format: PDF only
  • File Naming Convention: [Participant Name] Essay Title.pdf (e.g., Rahul Sharma_Educational Reforms In India.pdf)
  • Word Limit: 2000-2500 words (excluding references)
  • Citation Style: APA or any consistent citation format
  • All referenced material must be properly cited and must not exceed 10% plagiarism.
  • One submission per participant; no personal identifiers allowed.

Note: Submissions deviating from the above guidelines will not be considered.
