About the Speakers
Chitra Narayan
Chitra Narayan is a mediator and a lawyer in independent private practice with over 20 years’ experience in corporate commercial law – both in transaction advisory and dispute resolution. She is a trained and certified mediator, and has mediated commercial, corporate and family (including matrimonial) disputes for over 16 years. She is Accredited mediator and founding Trustee of Foundation for Comprehensive Dispute Resolution (FCDR), Chennai, an initiative to promote private mediation and to mainstream alternatives to litigation. She is also the author of the book Mediation Policy and Practice (Oakbridge, 2021).
Rukmani Menon
Rukmani Menon boasts over 25 years of legal experience, specializing in indirect taxation (GST), commercial litigation, property, and corporate matters. In 2015, she obtained certification from the Bangalore Mediation Centre, elevating her to a skilled mediator with 40 hours of training. Currently serving as Executive Director at CAMP, a renowned mediation center in Bengaluru, her expertise is primarily focused on commercial mediations, where she excels in resolving complex disputes with finesse. Her career is marked by an unwavering commitment to legal excellence and alternative dispute resolution.
