ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
The Amity Law School, Noida is an institution established by an educational society RBEF (Ritnand Balved Education Foundation) with the object of providing high-quality education in the legal domain. The Founder Trustee, an NRI, an industrialist, and the president of RBEF, Dr. Ashok K Chauhan is a renowned philanthropist who has dedicated his life to the service of the nation through education. Teaching at Amity Law School started with effect from 3rd November 2004.
ABOUT THE STUDENT BAR FORUM
The Student Bar Forum is a student committee entrusted with the responsibility of administering mooting activities, Trial Advocacy Tournaments, and Client Counselling Competitions upholding the high standards of excellence that Amity Law School Noida has set itself. The role of the Students Bar Forum is to facilitate and regulate mooting, Trial Advocacy tournaments, and client counselling competitions, at Amity Law School, Noida. This involves planning, organizing, and executing various moot court competitions hosted by Amity Law School, Noida. The second major mandate of the Students Bar Forum is to constitute university moot teams for various moot court competitions around the world. This involves a prior screening process of contending teams under the supervision of our faculties. The third major function that the student bar forum serves is to develop future mooters, as well as interest in mooting. The Student Bar Forum in the last academic session has not only ensured maximum participation of students in mooting but has also adroitly manoeuvred them into performing well in highly prestigious competitions. The Student Bar Forum comprises a workforce of more than 100 students out of which 20 are core committee members dedicated to working for the purpose of organizing various moot competitions relentlessly.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The purpose of this competition is to evaluate the knowledge of law students from around the country and to promote and develop skills in the procedure used in moot court competitions. It examines the law students on both their legal and factual knowledge. This is an endeavour to provide legal students with a platform to study the fundamentals of a moot court, which in turn expands one’s overall learning experience.
The objective of the event was to reflect on the different elements affecting the administration of justice and to identify measures to improve the system’s efficiency in the Hindi language, which is prevalent in the lower judiciary.
Henceforth, Amity Law School, Noida is pleased to announce that we are the only law school to hold this competition in the Hindi language. “Strengthening the district judiciary is the need of the hour. Without any doubt, the District Judiciary is the driving force behind the legal aid movement in India,” Hon’ble Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud said, henceforth the competition thrives as well as encourages the budding lawyers to seek perfection indeed prove their worth in lower judiciary where the primary language is Hindi.
Hindi is the official language of India and one of the most important languages in the world. In about 150 universities and hundreds of centres from the university level to the research level, teaching and learning are conducted in Hindi. More than 25 magazines are regularly published in Hindi.
Hindi is used everywhere in India from government examinations or judicial processes; hence, it is pointless to question the necessity of the Hindi language. The 7th Amity National Moot Court Competition, 2023 [VIRTUAL], is being organised under the auspices of Amity Law School, Amity University, in recognition of the significance of Hindi Moot Court Competitions in legal operations. Being one of India’s premier Law Schools, we are continually working to provide exceptional fresh talent from around the nation with a thorough and substantive legal education Those who are dedicated to the Hindi language are invited to participate in this competition to ensure the success of the event.
The Amity University Noida campus is pleased to announce that the 7th edition of the Amity National Hindi Moot Court Competition will be held virtually on March 31 – April 1, 2023.
OBJECTIVES
This competition was set up to promote and increase skills about the proceedings used by the Courts, as well as test the knowledge of law students across the country. It assesses law students’ legal knowledge as well as their knowledge of facts. This is an initiative to provide such a platform for law students to understand the fundamentals of a Hindi Moot Court, which in turn opens a broader doorway to one’s comprehensive learning experience.

ELIGIBILITY
Students pursuing a 3-Year LL.B. Degree Course or 5-Year Integrated LL.B. Degree Course and LL.M. Degree Course from the colleges recognised by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the competition.
INCENTIVES
- Prizes worth ₹ 1 Lakh.
- Merit certificates and trophies will be awarded to the winners.
