About the Competition

The National Level Competition on Negotiating Transaction Documents

(NCNTDs) is a premier event designed to nurture aspiring legal professionals’

negotiation, drafting, and due diligence skills in India. This unique competition engages participants in a multi-phased competition mirroring the lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. The competition journey begins with the submission of the Issues list based on the documents and the problem deck provided. This submission of issues list serves as a foundation for the subsequent stages of negotiation rounds.

Eligibility

The competition is open for students who are pursuing LLB (three-year / five-year) courses during the current academic year.
A recognized Institution/College/University shall be entitled to send only one Team for the Competition.
A team shall comprise of two members. This composition cannot be altered except with the prior written approval of the Corporate and Business Law Cell (from now on referred to as CBLC).

Registration Fee

A registration fee of Rs 3000/- (Three Thousand rupees only) is to be paid online by the team through Net Banking.
