About the Organisation
MediateGuru is a social initiative led by members across the globe. The aim of the organization is to build a bridge using which more law students can be encouraged to opt for ADR methods. MediateGuru is creating a social awareness campaign for showcasing mediation as a future of alternative dispute resolution to provide ease to the judiciary as well as to the pockets of general litigants.
MediateGuru has recorded its reach in over 100+ countries and registered 60 teams coming from 20 different jurisdictions in 1st Virtual International Mediation Competition 2021.
This competition is in collaboration with ciADR and Careers in Arbitration
About the Competition
MediateGuru aims at promoting ADR mechanisms and nurture a strong ADR culture around the globe. In pursuance of our goal, After the grand success of the 1st Virtual International Mediation Competition 2021 and from request from participants and universities from diverse jurisdictions, MediateGuru is pleased to organise the 1st International Arbitration Moot 2021. In furtherance of MediateGuru’s initial aim to promote ADR practices, This competition will focus on providing a practical exposure to ADR enthusiast law students on Arbitration.
Eligibility
To be eligible to sign up, students must be registered as full time or part time law students in the academic year of 2021-2022. Students who graduated in 2021, before the competition but no longer than 6 months prior to the commencement of competition are still eligible to participate.
TEAM COMPOSITION:
A team shall consist of Minimum two and maximum three members that must include two Speakers and one researcher.
Registration Formalities
Each team shall register to the competition by filling in their details in the following link. Please note this will be Preliminary Process of Registration.
On receipt of the duly filled Preliminary registration form the organization shall respond to the participating team, acknowledging the receipt and mentioning the step to conclude Final Registration. Each team will have 7 days to conclude their Final Registration, after communication of Successful Preliminary Registration.
Note: Payment information will be released to participants individually via e-mail, only after the provisional registration process is completed and the application is accepted.

▪Rank Certificate for teams ranking between 3rd to 10th.
- E-Certificates for participation will be sent through email within 1 month of the declaration of result
- Separate E- Certificates will be provided to the Semi-Finalists, Runners-up and Winners.
Language of the Arbitration Moot 2021
The official language of the Arbitration Moot 2021 is strictly English. Communication in any other international, national or regional language during the Arbitration Moot 2021 shall not be permitted.
Date and Mode:
The Mediation competition shall be conducted from 10th September to 14th September via online mode.

REGISTRATION FEE:
The registration fee for the competition is
▪Rs. 2500/- per team (For Indian Participants)
▪£100/- per team (For United Kingdom Participants)
▪€100/- per team (For European Union Participants)
▪$ 100/- per team (for any other foreign team not mentioned above)
The same shall be inclusive of an exhaustive training session exclusively for the participants.
