ABOUT THE EVENT
At IP Trademark Clinic, we have always strived to develop IP awareness in aspiring law students, IP Enthusiasts and Business Professionals to promote knowledge in the field of Intellectual Property Law and Practice. In furtherance of our goals, which include encouraging awareness and research in every area of the subject, we are organising a webinar celebrating World IP Day, on April 26, 2022, from 06:30 PM to 08:00 PM on the theme “IP and Youth: Innovating for a better future.”
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
The Hon’ble speaker for the event is Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Prakash Srivastava, Head and Dean, Department of Law & Governance, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya. He has obtained his LL.M. & LL.B degrees from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has been awarded a gold medal for securing the first rank in LL.M in the University. He did his Doctorate in Law from the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia; New Delhi on the topic entitled “Patenting of Biotechnological Inventions in India: A Critical Appraisal”. His areas of specializations are Intellectual Property Law, International Trade Law, Cyber Law and Law & Governance. He has published extensively in the field of Intellectual Property Law, Administrative Law, Cyber Law and Human rights in reputed National and International Law journals. He is serving as a member of editorial boards of various reputed national and international journals. He is the visiting faculty of the Indian Law Institute; Delhi and the Indian Institute of Public Administration. He has also authored two books, “Patenting of Biotechnological Inventions in India” and Laws Relating to Patents and Legal Methods.
