ABOUT THE WEBINAR:
All India legal forum is going to conduct a webinar on “Conundrum of the law applicable to Arbitration Agreements”. It is scheduled to take place online on YouTube on 9th January 2021. We bring this session to shed light on the significance of Arbitration Agreements and the Conundrum coupled with the laws applicable to Arbitration Agreements. Since Arbitration is generally the most effective and efficient remedy for settling the disputes among the parties as it decides the matters in a very short span of time without any recourse to the court, it is extremely important to understand the conundrum of the laws dealing with Arbitration Agreements. We expect to make it an enjoyable and enriching experience for all the participants.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
BEN GIARETTA
Ben Giaretta is a partner and Co-head of international arbitration at Fox Williams LLP. He is the Chair of the London Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He was formerly the Asia Head of international arbitration at Ashurst LLP, based in Singapore. He is a Chartered Arbitrator and is on the panels of arbitrators of many arbitral institutions throughout the world.
