Call for Applications: Program Research Assistant at WAYVE Foundation (Short-Term, Remote)
About the Program:
WAYVE (Wise Act of Youth Visioning and Engagement Foundation) is inviting applications for its Research Assistant Program from motivated students of law, humanities, and social sciences. The Foundation seeks three Program Research Assistants (PRAs) to support a short-term project focused on the Indian Constitution, human rights, and access to justice.
About WAYVE:
Based in Ahmedabad, WAYVE works to advance mental health, access to justice, and the empowerment of marginalized communities, particularly women and youth. The organization emphasizes leadership development, capacity building, and alliance-building initiatives aimed at fostering dignity, self-respect, and national participation.
About the Project:
This project is centered on deepening constitutional literacy and awareness among vulnerable and marginalized communities. The aim is to facilitate capacity building and access to justice through research, dissemination, and advocacy rooted in constitutional principles.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Commitment of three weeks, with 3 hours of daily engagement
- Conduct research on constitutional law, human rights, and related issues
- Assist in preparing content for presentations, training sessions, and events
- Perform assigned tasks and deliver them within strict deadlines
- Collaborate on project planning, content creation, and community engagement
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Students of law, humanities, or social sciences
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- Creative and critical thinking abilities
- High level of self-discipline, time management, and responsiveness
- Access to a computer and stable internet
- Willingness to start immediately upon selection
- Commitment to human rights and constitutional values
