ROUNDS OF THE COMPETITION
The competition will have the following rounds-
- Preliminary Round
- Quarter Final Round
- Semi Final Round
- Final Round
LANGUAGE
- The language of the competition shall be English only.
ELIGIBILITY
- Students pursuing 3-year and 5-year integrated law degree course are eligible to participate in this competition.
- Maximum TWO teams can participate from each institution.
RULES OF THE EVENT
- Each team should consist of 3 members. This number cannot be modified under any circumstances.
- There shall be 2 speakers and 1 researcher designated for each team. The researcher shall be allowed to argue with prior permission of the court and with the permission of the host college in case of illness of the designated speaker.
- Each team will be provided a team code after the registration. Teams should not disclose the identity of their institution, such disclosure shall invite penalties including disqualification. The decision for the same shall be at the discretion of the host college.
- Each team shall be given a time of 20 (12+8) minutes to argue upon their sides in Preliminary Round and in Quarter Final Round.
- Each team shall be given a time of 30 (18+12) minutes to argue upon their sides in Semi-final Round.
- Each team shall be given a time of 40 (25+15) minutes to argue upon their sides in Final Round.
- The Moot Session shall be of maximum 40 minutes. Extension of time is not permissible unless as per the discretion of the Judge.
- Rebuttal, Sur-Rebuttal and Question-Answer Round shall be as per the discretion of the judges. Marks shall be deducted for the extension of time without the permission of Judge.
- The participants shall adhere the black and white formal dress code when present in any court room during the competition.
MEMORIALS
The Memorial shall consist of following: –
- Cover page
- Table of contents
- Index of authorities
- Statements of jurisdiction
- Statement of facts
- Statement of issues
- Summary of pleadings
- Argument advanced
- The prayer.
participants shall submit Memorials to the host college via Google Form by 27th January 2022 in PDF as per the below format. Late submission of memorials will result in loss of marks for memorials.
- Font: – Times New Roman.
- Font size:- 12 and for footnotes 10.
- Line spacing:-1.5
- Reference as per APA Format
- Page numbering should be at bottom middle of each page.
- Covers must be placed on briefs as follows:
Petitioner: – Blue colour.
Respondent: – Red colour.
- Identity of the institution shall not be revealed anywhere in the memorial. Instead, code numbers allotted to the students should be mentioned.
- The written memorial shall be in accordance with the High Court rules.

- Participants must keep their videos on during participation.
- Participants should ensure proper network connectivity before and during the session.
- Participants shall not be given any extra time for speaking in case of disconnection due to low network or any technical glitch from the participants side.
- All the participants must mute their mic during the event.
- participants will be allowed to unmute their mic only when their turn to speak comes.
- Every team will get a code after registration. The participating teams must login using their Team Code as their Zoom Name only. Revealing identity in any manner will lead to disqualification.

ROUNDS OF THE COMPETITION
- There will be only one round. The winner will be decided on the highest score.

- This competition will be of famous case laws, legal rules , maxim, theories , doctrines.
- 3 images will be shown related to case laws, legal rules , maxim, theories , doctrines to each participant.
- Out of 3 images participants need to identify with explanation with time limit of 10 minute.
- For each correct answer there will be 10 marks given and the highest scorer will be the winner.
- The participants shall adhere the black and white formal dress code.

RULES OF THE EVENT
- This competition will include logical reasoning questions.
- Questions will be provided through google form, the link of the google form will be sent in zoom chat box.
- Participant need to solve 10 questions within 10 minutes in both the rounds.
- There will be no negative marking.
- In case of a tie, the participant who submits earlier will be declared the winner.
- Top participants will qualify to the final round.
- The participants shall adhere the black and white formal dress code.
