Session on International Labour Standards (ILS)
About the Session
This session aims to explore the relevance and necessity of International Labour Standards (ILS) in today’s world. Even though most nations have their own labour laws, discrepancies in enforcement, scope, and protections necessitate universal standards. ILS, developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO), ensure minimum global benchmarks for worker rights, especially in a globalized economic landscape.
