About the Researcher
Anupam Debashis Roy is a Doctoral Candidate in Sociology at the University of Oxford, with an MSc in Political Sociology from LSE. He is also the author of Not All Springs End Winter and eight other books, alongside being a teacher, columnist, speaker, and political activist.
Research Focus
The project seeks to critically examine the Sheikh Hasina regime in Bangladesh through academic frameworks of fascism, populism, and authoritarianism. The work aims to contribute to comparative political sociology and debates on South Asian governance models.
Eligibility

Researchers in Political Science or Sociology

Strong interest in South Asian politics, particularly Bangladesh

Prior experience in political theory, regime classification, or authoritarianism studies is desirable
Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate as a co-author and/or assist with research tasks

Contribute to literature review, data collection, and theoretical framing

Assist in drafting and refining the paper for publication
