Reels Making Competition: Break Down Criminal Laws – Old vs New Sections

The Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens, especially the youth, to participate in the Reel Contest. The objective is to raise awareness about the New Criminal Laws (NCL):

  1. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023

  2. Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023

  3. Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023


Specifications:

  • Duration of Reel: 1 minute

  • Format: Vertical (MP4)

  • Languages: Hindi, English, or any Regional Language

  • Submission: Link of the Reel to be shared on MyGov


Theme:

  • Awareness on NCL – Old Sections vs. New Sections

  1. Sexual Assault

  2. Kidnapping and Abduction

  3. Theft

  4. Attempt to Murder

  5. Cheating

  6. Dowry Cruelty

Gratification:

  • Prize Money: ₹5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) for the best entry in each topic.
