Punjab Youth Leaders Program Fellowship – Sanjhi Sikhiya
About Sanjhi Sikhiya:
Sanjhi Sikhiya is a dynamic collective of young professionals dedicated to ensuring that all children in Punjab achieve foundational learning in a supportive environment. Since 2018, they have worked closely with Punjab’s education department and other partners to drive systemic reforms through dialogue, capacity building, data-driven decisions, and policy advocacy.
About the Fellowship:
The Punjab Youth Leaders Program (PYLP) is a two-year, full-time leadership fellowship designed to nurture future leaders ready to bring meaningful change in Punjab’s education sector. As a fellow, you will collaborate with 10-15 government primary schools, working with school administrations, teachers, communities, and local leaders to build and realize a shared vision for school improvement.
You will also engage in monthly leadership development sessions, mentorship from experts, interactive workshops, and personal growth opportunities.
Who Should Apply?

Graduates (any discipline) under 30 years of age (as of June 2025)

Passionate about education and social change in Punjab

Strong communication skills in at least two of the following: Punjabi, English, Hindi

Comfortable with MS Office, Canva, and eager to learn new tools

Prior leadership, community work, or education experience is preferred but not mandatory

Ability to manage time, build partnerships, and creatively solve problems
Fellowship Details:

Duration: 2 years (full-time)

Stipend: ₹20,000/month (includes ESI, EPF, Professional Tax)

Location: Based in districts such as Patiala, Ropar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Bathinda, or other locations in Punjab
