About the Fellowship
The Branco Weiss Fellowship supports exceptional postdoctoral researchers across all disciplines — including natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, and humanities — who wish to pursue innovative, independent research that challenges conventional boundaries. Administered by ETH Zurich, the fellowship empowers scholars to carry out their personal research vision anywhere in the world.
Fellowship Details
Each fellow receives CHF 600,000 for up to five years, covering legitimate research expenses such as salary, equipment, travel, and personnel.
