Karan Gupta Law Chambers, Bengaluru is inviting applications for its on-site litigation internship programme. Please note that all internship slots up to 01 April 2026 are already filled.

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year law programme at a recognized university
• Penultimate or final year law students only
• Prior internship experience in disputes/litigation is mandatory

Available Internship Slots

  1. 01 April 2026 – 30 April 2026
    Decisions expected by 28 February 2026

  2. 01 June 2026 – 30 June 2026
    Decisions expected by 15 April 2026

No part-time or online internship applications will be entertained.

Stipend

• INR 6,000 per month for students residing in Bengaluru
• INR 6,000 stipend plus reimbursement of expenses up to INR 6,000 for students residing outside Bengaluru

Nature of Work

• Legal research and drafting in dispute-related matters
• Participation in internal meetings
• Ownership of assigned work and matters

Application Requirements (Mandatory)

  1. CV (maximum three pages)

  2. Statement of Interest (maximum 300 words) explaining motivation to practise in disputes or litigation

  3. One of the following:

(a) Published writing sample (post January 2023), or
(b) Analytical note (800–1,200 words) on one of the topics or judgments listed below

Topics

a. Actus curiae neminem gravabit in the context of failure of a Trial Court to record reasons for dispensation of notice under Order XXXIX Rule 3 CPC
OR
b. Judicial scrutiny of a cloud on title raised by a defendant in a bare injunction suit, and whether denial of title mandates amendment to a declaration suit
