About the Opportunity
The Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA), in collaboration with the Harvard International Law Journal (HILJ), has announced its call for submissions for short-form scholarship in international commercial and investment arbitration. This initiative invites global practitioners and scholars to contribute concise, high-quality analytical pieces aimed at advancing dialogue in the arbitration field. Selected submissions will be published by both HIALSA and HILJ Online.
Eligibility

Professionals with at least five years of post-law-degree experience in international arbitration

Single authorship only
-
Submissions must be written in English
-
Word limit between 500 and 2,500 words
-
Original academic commentary, case analysis, or regional highlights relevant to arbitration
Roles and Responsibilities (for Contributors)

Draft and submit a well-researched, original short-form piece
-
Ensure compliance with all formatting and authorship requirements

Provide a resume along with the manuscript

Engage meaningfully with contemporary issues in international arbitration
