About:
A forthcoming edited volume titled “Bangladesh, International Law and Security in Post-July 2024”, to be published by Springer, is inviting contributions from qualified scholars. The book, co-edited by Fahim Abrar Abid (Erasmus Mundus Scholar, International Law) and Professor Dr. Md. Towhidul Islam, aims to examine contemporary developments in Bangladesh’s legal and security landscape through the lens of international law.

Chapters Open for Contribution:

  1. Possibilities and Challenges in Energy Law

  2. Minority Rights in Flux: Protecting Religious and Indigenous Communities

  3. Education in the Reimagined Future

Eligibility:
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, or

  • Have a minimum of 15 years of academic or professional experience.
    In cases of joint authorship, at least one author must fulfill the above requirement.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Selected contributors will be expected to submit a full-length chapter (6,000–8,000 words) adhering to the thematic and referencing guidelines provided by the editors. Each chapter should present original research or critical analysis aligned with the broader theme of international law and security in Bangladesh.
