Opportunity for Researcher/Research Consultant in Banking and Climate Litigation (0.6 FTE)

About BIICL

The British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) is a leading independent research organisation committed to advancing knowledge and practice in international and comparative law. Through research, events, training, and publications, BIICL makes a lasting impact on law and policy worldwide.

We are launching a new Banking & Climate Litigation Mapping Project, which builds on our Global Toolbox on Corporate Climate Litigation initiative. This project will examine the intersection of banking practices and climate change litigation across multiple jurisdictions, assessing legal frameworks for impact-based challenges against major financial institutions contributing to climate harm.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of financial law, climate justice, and human rights.
