About the Role
The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) is inviting applications for two Research Fellow positions under its collaborative research programme with the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance. These are full-time, policy-focused roles that require a strong foundation in research, legal/economic analysis, and a keen interest in public policy and finance.
Eligibility
Position 1:

Background: Law or Public Policy
-
Qualifications: LLB or Master of Public Policy (MPP)

Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience

Focus Areas: Financial sector reforms, crypto assets, digital economy
Position 2:
-
Background: Economics, Finance, or Public Policy with a climate focus
-
Experience: 1–3 years in relevant areas

Desirable Skills: Data analysis and research in climate finance, sustainability, and financial risk assessment
Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and policy analysis

Work on emerging issues at the intersection of law, finance, economics, and public policy

Contribute to ongoing research initiatives beyond core focus areas

Draft reports, policy briefs, and present findings to stakeholders
