About:
A mid-sized law firm in Mumbai is seeking a Principal Associate with 7+ years of post-qualification experience to lead high-impact financing transactions and provide regulatory advisory. The role offers exposure to large-scale transactions, dynamic financial markets, and collaboration with leading banks and corporates.
Eligibility:

7+ years of post-qualification experience

Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience managing large transactions independently

Commercial acumen and ability to deliver solutions with minimal supervision

Experience in banking, finance, and regulatory advisory
Roles and Responsibilities:

Independently manage end-to-end financing mandates including rupee and foreign currency lending, mezzanine, asset-based, acquisition, project, and trade finance

Negotiate and draft complex transaction documents with precision and commercial awareness

Advise on regulatory matters for banks, NBFCs, and financial intermediaries, including product structuring, credit enhancement, distressed asset resolution, and recovery strategies

Collaborate directly with banks, high-growth corporates, and financial institutions
