About:
The Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria is seeking a Post-Doctoral Researcher for a 24-month multi-country research project on gender-inclusive climate change governance, part of the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship hosted at the University of Bradford. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact research at the intersection of gender, law, and climate justice.
Eligibility:

PhD in law, sociology, gender studies, climate/environmental governance, or a related discipline.

Strong research and policy analysis skills.

Experience working with communities and stakeholders.

Ability to produce high-quality academic and non-academic outputs.

Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse research team.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct multidisciplinary research on climate justice for women.

Lead community-engaged studies and field research.
-
Develop policy instruments and capacity-building resources.
-
Disseminate research through publications, conferences, and other platforms.

Support project governance, data management, and stakeholder engagement.
