About the Program:
Bocconi University, Milan, invites applications for 8 fully funded PhD positions in its prestigious PhD in Legal Studies program. The fellowship amounts to €27,000 (first year) and €23,000 (second and third year), with complete tuition fee exemption for fellowship recipients. The program offers two interdisciplinary and research-driven curricula — International and European Law and Business and Social Law — designed to train the next generation of legal scholars and policy researchers.
Students will engage in tailored coursework on legal methodologies, participate in specialized seminars, and benefit from research opportunities within the CIVICA network, which includes leading institutions such as LSE, Sciences Po, and EUI. Research stays abroad and teaching assistantships form an integral part of the program’s experiential learning model.
Eligibility:

Open to candidates of all nationalities.

Applicants must have completed or be completing their graduate studies.

Minimum proven B2 (CEFR) level of English proficiency is required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
